I’m an artist and arts organizer based in Charlottesville, Virginia, originally from Los Angeles, California.

I weave and stitch social and personal histories into sculptures, performances, exhibitions and events that engage communities.

I also weave and stitch clothing and quilts for bodies and homes.

Much of my work responds to archival research, conversations, time spent outdoors, and opportunities to activate alternative spaces. I often use fabric and sewing as a central material practice.

My ten years of experience as an arts organizer/administrator/staff-person informs my art practice, my design business Dao Bao, and my day to day life. I currently work full time as the Ruffin Gallery and Visiting Artist Coordinator for University of Virginia’s Department of Art.

I am originally from Los Angeles, California. I was based in Joshua Tree, CA from 2016-2023, with stints in Oakland, CA from 2019-2023.
